Page 2 of 2 Temperatures for July were nothing spectacular due to the mainly cloudy and wet conditions (it rained on 17 days of the month). The maximum for the month of 21.9ºC was well down on the recorded maximum of 28.7ºC. However a slight upward trend is evident from the start to the end of the month. Whilst the total rainfall for the month of 33mm was only half the average of 66.4mm the rainfall was spread over a greater number of days (17) than the average of 14 days. Wind speeds were also well below the average at only 2.6Kts average compared with 9.1Kts. Maximum gust was only 28mph (24.4Kts) for the month. |
